Time Capsules

Amongst the more intriguing products in the Entech range are custom-manufactured Time Capsules, designed to contain records and artefacts in a state of high preservation for at least 2000 years at which time it is intended that they will provide a snapshot of life in the present century. Outstanding examples include a 'Flying Saucer' stainless steel design, for the British Embassy in Oman, and a tubular stainless steel 'Time Vault' design for the HSBC Tower at Canary Wharf. The contents are specially prepared by a skilled preservator, including de-acidification and encapsulation, and are then placed in the time capsule before the interior is purged with inert argon gas and sealed. Where a welded seal is involved, the contents are first protected by space-technology heat-shield material capable of resisting the high temperatures involved in the process. Where required, a Certificate of |Insurance will be issued covering the contents until the year 4005 AD subject to the normal terms and conditions. Interestingly, the British Embassy capsule contains small scale drawings of Concorde, items from Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II, and the last two Manumation Certificates issued my the British Protectorate of Oman in 1947. The HSBC caspsule contains items of Bank Memorabilia flown specially from Hong Kong and from the UK archives in London.
